Starting life as an analyst following a Physiology degree, Alex honed is craft at Times Top 10 start-up carwow, where he was responsible for turning consumer data into sales and marketing insights to power their functions. Passionate about music, Alex launched a series of club nights supporting Electronic, House, Techno, Hip Hop, Grime, Garage and Rap artists with their live opportunities. Comnbining his skillset with his passion, he joined Universal Music as a Global Analyst where he worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Bastille and many more global artists. It was here Alex developed an interest in leveraging data to reduce uncertainty for artists marketing decisions. Alex then launched un:hurd music to democratise access to major label marketing power. Since launching, un:hurd have worked with over 200,000 artists and labels, including the likes of Tinie Tempah, Imogen Heap, Fatboy Slim, Hot Since 82, Muse and many more.
