Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he is co-managing director and partner of Boom Festival and the Being Gathering: both recognized for fostering transformative experiences. He also serves on the board of the Portuguese Association of Promoters of Shows, Festivals, and Events (APEFE). He holds a degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE – University of Lisbon, and is currently doing an Executive Master at ISCTE. He has also broadened his studies in Permaculture, Ecovillage Design, Organic Agriculture, Creative Leadership (THNK), Design Thinking, Copy Writing, to name just a few. His journey spans from the social sector to the electronic music scene, where he has been active since the early-90s. Professionally, he has contributed to curation, production for music events, shows and festivals; and communication across various media platforms, including TV, websites, and books. As a speaker he participated at international events across the world. His intention with Boom Festival focuses on awakening the subversive self, encouraging individuals to inspire change within their communities.
