Rishi Patel is General Partner and Co-founder of Plus Eight Equity Partners, an early stage venture capital firm launched in 2014 that has partnered with electronic music industry leaders to invest in startups at the intersection of entertainment & technology. Previously, he worked 10 years as an investment banker on Wall Street advising corporations and private equity groups on mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions amounting to over $12 billion. He has worked at firms such as Morgan Stanley & Co., Perella Weinberg LP and Jefferies LLC, and currently serves on the Board of MRKTSTAR Inc. (VersusGame). He is also a Board Observer for SUBPAC Inc. and VNTANA Inc. Rishi received his undergraduate degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
